Taking a few minutes when you arrive at your campsite to set everything up will save you time and headaches for the rest of your camping trip. Hopefully these tips can give you some ideas how to organize your campsite.
Camping requires some basic supplies like a tent (or RV), sleeping bags, lanterns, and cooking supplies. But there are also some extra supplies for your campsite that will make your camping experience much more enjoyable for all involved.
We have open sites available for the 2017 camping season which runs April 15 to October 15, 2017. We have full hook-up sites with electric/water/sewer or we also have electric/water sites. Call 574-784-8532 with any questions or to schedule a time to come out and see what we have.
Saturday, October 8 at Maple Ridge Campground we will have our Halloween Carnival Party and Costume Contest. Play Halloween themed games, win candy and Halloween themed prizes and dance to Halloween music. Then at 3:30 enter our Costume Contest to win prizes.
We will have Trick-or-Treating at Maple Ridge Campground on October 8 at 4pm. Visit all the campers and ask for your loot! We will also have a Chili Cook-off, Treasure Hunt, Halloween Carnival Party with Costume Contest and our 2nd annual Haunted Hay Wagon Ride.
Our Fall Festival Weekend is designed to get your family ready for Fall. We will have pumpkin decorating and our wagon ride will include Hay! We will also have our annual chili pitch-in. Bring one (or more) cans of chili ingredients per person to add to our pot of chili. Also bring a side dish to share (bread, salad, dessert) per family and enjoy our creation at 5pm. If you forget to bring the food, you can still feast for $4.
